Wasps Studios
Last weekend I went to wasps studios to have a look the artists work who have been coming in over the last couple of weeks to speak to us have done and look at other peoples work as well.
I had a look at Mary Morrison's studio that she been telling us about in her talk, it was nice being able to see her paintings in more detail and have a look at what she'd been talking about. I was also able to see more of where she'd been painting over the shipping charts.
I really like Colin Philips work, his paintings reminded me of the woods near my house and it almost looked like you could walk into them, I also liked how he used different tones of blue to make the picture. he mainly does pictures using charcoals oil pastels all in black-and-white his drawings are all of pictures that he's taken
It was nice being able to see all the different artists studios and see how they all work in different ways, some of them had quite tidy studios everything was laid out neat and clean and others had stuff all over the place it was more like a organized mess and some weren't even organized
