pictures from out of the car window.
On my way up to Glasgow I took some snaps out the window, I've tried doing this style of photography before. What I like about taking photos in this way is that you lose control and have to work with whats happening infront of you.
I found myself trigger hitting the camera as I got close to something that interested me. I think I did this because I had no control of how long I had to take the picture, being on the motorway also meant I couldn't decide where the picture was taking form.
I like taking photos of windmills because they look so alien on the horizon.
There something about the solid shape of buildings against a dreary grey sky that captures my attention.
I like this picture because of the shape of the roof and how the dark sky at the top of the picture mimics the buildings
driving home I wanted to take some pictures of the lights, I tried putting the camera on the dash board to see if the camera would focus on the car infront and let the light move around it.
Having the camera just on the dash border wasn't working, the shutter wasn't staying open for long enough. So to capture more of the lights I tried moving and drawing with the camera still on shutter, this worked a lot better.
I have found this effect very interesting and think I will continue to develop my work in this area and may use it in my finished pieces.
