Textures of skin

These are my 10 photos of texture.  I chose the human skin as my focus, I did this because skin is a ever changing texture that no matter what we tried todo to stop it from aged we can't. I photographed my Dad who is 53 and my little brother who is 12 I did this so that the textures of the skin would be significantly different.

I made some of the pictures into collages so that you can see lot of textures side by side I got this idea of the photographer Sophie Calle. The photos are in black and white so that your eyes aren't put off by the colour, it also gives the photos more of a contrast and shows the shapes of the picture as well.

I tried to keep the photos recognisable as body parts.
