Photos from new year

I took these pictures on New Year’s Day, I wanted to try using a low exposure so the pictures were darker and you got less colour and more shadow. I’m making the pictures darker because I think that the woods can sometimes be quite full on.  

The woods can be distracting especially by the amount of greenery and textures that’s  going on, I think by making the pictures darker and blocking out some of that greenery, it will make the photos a lot less distracted.

I’m trying to remove as much of the greenery and the brightness as I can so that your eye is drawn to what little light there is. 

These were just testers for my final photo, getting use to the lighting and what settings to use.
