Photos of My Dog's
As I'm still trying to get to grips with all the different settings on my camera, I thought I'd use my two Patterjacks running on the beach as good practice with the shutter speed.
I tried using the TV setting and changing the IOS and the drive mode to continuous shooting, to help my chances of getting a decent photo. I wasn't getting anything that great with the TV, the images were still coming out blurred so I changed it to the default sport setting which worked a lot better.
For the composition of the photos I wanted to show what the dogs were seeing, this I tried when I was taking photos of the old lobster cage, I cropped out the dogs eye, as people are naturally drawn to the eyes. I wanted the viewer to look at the photo from how the dogs were seeing it.
In my other photos I took the pictures from low down so I could show the landscape and others a bit closer up to capture the motion of the dogs with more detail.
I kept them in colour as the different tones of blue and browns worked well together, the photos are quite muted with no overwhelming bright colours to distract the eye.
Love your cute dogs!
